Our Services 

At Bloomington Parks and Recreation, we believe there’s a place for everyone to play, learn, and connect. Our Inclusion Services can provide reasonable accommodations for any program we offer, while our Adaptive Recreation programs are specially designed for the disability community.

Some people feel most at home surrounded by their own community, while others thrive with supports in programs with all participants. No matter how you shine, our goal is to help you find the recreation experience that’s right for you. 

Inclusion Services

At Bloomington Parks and Recreation, everyone is welcome. We provide Inclusion Services to support participants with disabilities so everyone can take part in our programs. If you’d like to join a program and would prefer an accommodation or extra support, just check the “support to participate” box when you register or connect with the Recreation Supervisor listed below.

Adaptive Recreation

Our Adaptive Recreation programs are designed specifically for adults with disabilities, offering a welcoming space to connect, try new activities and build skills.

From sports and games to crafts, dances and outdoor adventures, every program is supported by trained staff to help participants engage fully and confidently. All equipment is provided, and transportation through TRAIL is available for eligible participants.
