This event has been rescheduled to January 27, 2026, 10 a.m. 


Adults 50 years of age and above are invited to join Machelle Borell from Comfort Keepers for an informative presentation on in-home care and home safety for seniors. 

She’ll cover:

  • When in-home care may be needed
  • How to choose the right agency
  • The benefits it provides for safety, independence and peace of mind. 

Machelle will also highlight TruBlue Home Service Ally and share tips on affordable modifications to make homes safer and more accessible.

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited to a maximum of 30 participants. Registration is required. Register online at Webtrac.

Join us for a Veterans Appreciation Reception. A short program followed by appetizers andrefreshments will be served.

Pregnant individuals and families with children up to 5-years-old are invited to meet an Infant Health Public Health Staff. Services available include resources, group education, group or one-on-one support, and baby supplies. 

Somali speaking staff from Bloomington Public Health will be available on site during these sessions. If other languages are needed, interpretation is available. 

Please note:

Due to feedback from the parent group that attends this session, the format has been updated to virtual, and the time has been changed. These changes will remain in effect through the end of the Infant Health Initiative grant period in April 2026.

In the past, this group typically met on the third Friday of the month, 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. However, all sessions through April 2026 will follow the updated virtual format and new time.
