Fire Engine

The Fire Engine is our most versatile vehicle in service and responds to most calls for service. Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are equipped with additional Advanced Life Support medical equipment.

Aerial Apparatus (Ladder Trucks)

The Ladder Truck is sent on all alarms, rescues, vehicle accidents, and overhaul operations. There are three types of ladder trucks: mid-mount platform, tractor-tiller, and straight ladder.

Brush Truck

The Brush Trucks are used for wildland fires, towing ATVs and snowmobiles, and used for snow plowing. They have a small water tank and pump used to extinguish vegetation fires and smaller vehicles.

Rescue 1

Rescue 1 is a specialized rescue truck that is capable of filling air cylinders used by firefighters for fire and rescue operations. Rescue 1 also has specialized technical rescue equipment for confined spaces, in addition to high-level and low-level rope rescues.

Rescue 2

Rescue 2 serves as a rescue vehicle equipped with ground ladders and extrication equipment, much like the aerial apparatus, but without the aerial ladder.

Mini-Pumper

Engine 333 is a smaller scale fire engine used for low clearance areas, such as parking ramps.

Small Rescue Vehicles
ATVs

There are three side-by-side all-terrain vehicles that are used for search and rescue operations and wildland firefighting.

Boats

There are three boats that are used for water rescue operations.

Snowmobiles

Two snowmobiles are used for search-and-rescue and medical emergencies during the winter months.
