Planting the Seeds of Change

Volunteers needed to help make the Park Avenue Pollinator Corridor a beautiful habitat for bees, butterflies, and birds!
Saturday, September 13, 2025
9am-12pm
Oxboro Library

Honey bee and a purple flower.

Join us in planting native flowers for pollinators along the Park Avenue powerline corridor.  Put one new plant in the ground or many!  It all helps make this area a safe place for pollinators and a beautiful place for the community.

Meet along the east side of Oxboro Library (8801 Portland Ave. S.) at the registration tent.  Begin with an orientation at 9:30 OR 10:30am to get started.

No planting experience is necessary.  All are welcome - beginners and experienced gardeners!  Click here to register.

This project is a combined effort of the Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, Hennepin County Library, Xcel Energy, and the City of Bloomington.
