Starting January 19, 2021, our operating hours are 4 - 9 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays. Curbside pickup and drop-off of field equipment will be available from 4 - 9 p.m. on Thursdays, as well.

Welcome to Bloomington Community Access Television! BCAT is a community media center based in Bloomington, MN. Residents can become members of the facility, take production classes in studio, digital camera, and post-production editing, and learn how to create their very own television show that will air on our local cable channels! BCAT Rules of Operation

The purpose of BCAT is to provide residents and organizations a means to produce a wide variety of cable television programs about their experiences and interests. More specifically, the operation strives:

  • To facilitate, promote, coordinate and assist public service community programming of interest or benefit to the citizens of Bloomington; and
  • To inform members of the community of the potential services and benefits of cable television communications in Bloomington; and
  • To provide training, resources and technical assistance that will make cable television facilities more accessible to the citizens of Bloomington as a non-commercial means of communication
