The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on May 18, 2026, at 06:30 pm in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, or by electronic means as permitted by State law, to consider Case #PL202600048, an application by Oxboro Companies, LLC to rezone 8030 Old Cedar Avenue South in City of Bloomington from FD-2 (Freeway Development) to B-1 (Neighborhood Office) for the purpose of establishing a retail tenant.

The Bloomington City Council will hold public hearings on Monday, June 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as provided by State law, to consider a Ordinances amending the City Charter, Chapter 5, Sections 5.05, 5.11, and 5.16 relating to initiative, referendum and recall and City Charter, Chapter 7, Sections 7.06, 7.10, 7.14, 7.15, 7.16, 7.17 relating to city taxation and finance, both are specifically set forth below.

Notice of Public Hearing: Ordinance Modifying The Franchise Fee for CenterPoint Energy Minnesota Gas
The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as provided by State law, to consider an Ordinance modifying the franchise fee authorized under Chapter 20, Section 20.08 of the Bloomington City Code, and imposed on CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. d/b/a CenterPoint Energy Minnesota Gas, for the right to import, manufacture, distribute, and sell gas for public and private use within the City of Bloomington, Minnesota and amending Appendix A for fees and charges for services established by ordinance.

The Bloomington Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as permitted by State law, to consider Case #PL2026-26, an application by Keith Pelatowski and 1993 Holdings LLC to rezone 7805, 7815, 7825, 7835, and 7845 Telegraph Road in the City of Bloomington from R-1 Single-Family Residential (Planned Development) to B-1 Neighborhood Office (Planned Development).
The Bloomington Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as permitted by State law, to consider Case #PL2026-66, an application by Airport Construction of Minnesota, Inc. and Park'n Go of Minnesota, LLC for: (1) a Comprehensive Plan land Use Guide Plan Amendment to change land use designation at 7901 International Drive in the City of Bloomington from South Loop Mixed Use to High Intensity Mixed Use; (2) to rezone 7901 International Drive from HX-R High Intensity Mixed Use with Residential to CX-2 Mixed Use; and (3) Conditional Use Permit application for a remote airport parking facility at 7901 International Drive.
The Bloomington Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 21, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as permitted by State law, to consider Case #PL2026-58, application by Rosa Development Company, LLLP for (1) a Comprehensive Plan Land Use Guide Plan Amendment to change land use designation at 3700 and 3750 American Blvd. East in the City of Bloomington from South Loop Mixed Use to High Intensity Mixed Use; (2) to rezone 3700 and 3750 American Blvd. East from HX-R High Intensity Mixed Use with Residential (Planned Development) to CX-2 Mixed Use (Planned Development); and (3) a Conditional Use Permit application for a remote airport parking facility at 3700 and 3750 American Blvd. East.
