The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at the Bloomington Civic Plaza located at the 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, MN 55431 in the City of Bloomington, or by electric means as provided by State law, to consider modifying the existing Tax Increment Financing (Housing) District No. 1-K (American Square Development Project) within Industrial Development District No. 1 (South Loop District) and adopt the related Modification to the Tax Increment Financing Plan therefor (the "Plan"); all pursuant to and in conformity with applicable law. Copies of the Plan as proposed to be considered at the hearing will be on file and available for public inspection at the Civic Plaza. The property to be included in the modified Tax Increment Financing Housing District No. 1-K (American Square Development Project) is described in the Plan, and represents a boundary expansion to include two additional parcels. Subject to certain limitations, tax increment from the Tax Increment Financing Housing District may be spent on eligible uses within the boundaries of the Tax Increment Financing Housing District No. 1-K (American Square Development Project) and the Industrial Development District No. 1 (South Loop District).
