The Bloomington Academy for Safe Elders program provides resources, safety education, and crime prevention tips to citizens of Bloomington who are 50 and older. Human Services partners with Public Health, Public Works, Bloomington Police, Fire Department, and other organizations to provide expert perspectives on topics such as scams, fire prevention, emergency preparedness, home safety, hands only CPR/AED training, driver safety, and more.

The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department undertakes multiple park improvement projects each year. Updates on each project will be posted periodically as significant progress is made or more information becomes available.

Due May 11: Apply to serve on the Planning Commission and make recommendations to the City Council on land use, long-range development strategies, development applications and zoning.
