Warming Houses Now Closed for the Season

UPDATE Friday, February 13, 2026: Due to deteriorating ice conditions, effective immediately the warming houses at all nine skating sites are now closed. Thanks for making this another great outdoor skating season in Bloomington! We look forward to seeing you again in December.

Wednesday, February 11, 2026: Warming houses at all nine skating sites will close for the season on Sunday, February 15. Although rinks will remain accessible, the ice surfaces will no longer be maintained by Park Maintenance staff after Sunday. With forecast unseasonably warm weather, we will monitor ice conditions through the closing date and provide updates as necessary.

Did you know you can rent a rink for an event or other private use? 

Visit blm.mn/rent-a-rink to find a location that's perfect for you. Rentals are available in one-hour increments during park open hours. 

Note: Warming houses are not included in rental. 

Bloomington offers nine* outdoor skating sites, each one featuring both hockey and general recreational skating options. Weather permitting, the season typically runs mid-December through mid-February. See below for schedule, hours, rink addresses and other details. Rinks are illuminated until 10 p.m. daily.
