Give unwanted items a new purpose at Bloomington's annual Recycling Drop-Off event on Saturday, September 26, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 10500 Hampshire Ave. S., the Public Works Western Maintenance Facility. This event helps residents recycle materials that are not accepted in curbside recycling and keeps reusable resources out of landfills.
A variety of items will be accepted. Some materials are free to recycle and others require a small fee. Only cash and check are accepted as payment. Please note: Fees for some items have changed from previous years, including paper shredding. The first standard-size bag or box of paper is free, and each additional bag or box is $5. Review the fees below before attending.
Planning ahead will help make your visit quick and efficient. Before loading your vehicle, review the complete list of accepted materials, fees and other event details at blm.mn/drop-off.
