The Department of Vehicle Services recommends people get their REAL ID or passport as soon as possible to avoid the potential of long wait times closer to the deadline. Did you know a passport card counts as REAL ID? The City has added additional passport appointments to accommodate residents who prefer a passport card which is valid for 10 years for anyone over the age of 16. To make a passport appointment, visit blm.mn/passports.
