Baby Gear Swap

Sections

The 2024 Baby Gear Swap took place on Saturday, June 22nd from 9 to 11 am. Almost 100 participants successfully swapped over 575 pounds of baby gear in just 2 hours. This swap event continues to be in demand and a great opportunity for families to declutter or save on expensive baby items; the Baby Gear Swap will likely return in spring/summer of 2025. Thanks to all who participated!

City-hosted swap events are part of the City of Bloomington's bulky item management program. The goal of these events is to repurpose items and give them new homes, helping to divert waste from going to landfills and incinerators. Learn more at blm.mn/bulkies.
