Buy and plant a tree this Arbor Day
You can help build Bloomington’s urban canopy by ordering a tree for your yard through the City’s annual Arbor Day tree sale. Bloomington residents can pre-purchase affordable bare-root trees that will be delivered during the first week of May. Trees are selling quickly. Visit blm.mn/treesale to see what trees are still available and place an order.
Now in its 18th year, this program helps the City maintain its Tree City USA designation and has added more than 3,000 trees to Bloomington’s urban forest. Residents may purchase a maximum of five trees per household.
