Thank you for contacting the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department to request assistance with your upcoming event. 

Please review these guidelines and complete the request form below. Once submitted, a member of the Parks and Recreation team will respond as soon as possible to discuss support needed for your event. 

SUBMISSION DEADLINE

All requests must be submitted no less than 30 days prior to event date. Requests submitted within 30 days of event date will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Submitting 30 days or more in advance of event date does not guarantee acceptance of requests for assistance. 

MINIMUM SANITATION REQUIREMENTS

Anticipated attendance indicated in this form may trigger automatic minimums for required trash and recycling receptacles and portable restroom facilities. Parks and Recreation Staff will review and advise accordingly. 

EVENT MAP

Requester/organizer must email map showing event layout to Parks and Recreation at least (insert time) before event date. Park base maps can be created for requesters to use in creating plan views. Map should include location(s) of: 

  • Tent(s)
  • Stage(s)/Platform(s)
  • Generator(s)
  • Food Vendor(s)
  • Portable restroom facilities
  • Trash and recycling bins
  • Signs and banners

Will you be using tents/canopies at the event?
Please list all tent/canopy sizes you anticipate using. (e.g. 10x10, 10x20, etc.)
Will food trucks/vendors be part of the event?
Will other vendors (merchandise, information booths, etc.) be part of the event?
Will beer or other alcohol sales be part of the event?
