Step into a Bloomington hidden gem on this guided walk to one of the few remaining original prairies in the area! 

Take a naturalist-led tour through this unique grassland, where you'll discover what’s blooming, learn about the prairie’s rich history, and explore the careful stewardship that keeps this important ecosystem alive. 

It’s a rare chance to experience the wild beauty of the prairie right here in Bloomington.

  • Park at the south end of the Life Church parking lot, 2201 West 108th Street.
  • Meet the naturalist guide at the south end of the building.
  • The walk will start promptly at 1 P.M.
  • Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes and bring a water bottle. 

Free program. No registration required. All ages welcome.
