Notice of Public Hearing: Rezoning, Preliminary & Final Development Plans, Lot Line Adjustment - Gallery Apartments - 7900 Xerxes Avenue South

The Bloomington Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 7, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as permitted by State law, to consider Case #PL2026-61, an application by Chase Real Estate to: (1) rezone 7900 Xerxes Avenue South and 3400 American Boulevard West, each in the City of Bloomington (the “Properties”), from Commercial Office CO-1(Planned Development) to Freeway Office C-4(Planned Development); (2) preliminary and final development plans for a 270-unit multi-family residential development on the Properties; and (3) lot line adjustment to adjust the property lines between the Properties.

Press *3 to “raise your hand” to indicate a desire to speak; your line will remain muted until it is your turn. When it is your turn to speak, the meeting operator will call on you by the first six digits of your phone number and will unmute your line. Listen for notification that your line has been unmuted and state your name before speaking. (Note: long-distance call. Consider calling methods to reduce or eliminate long distance charges.)

To ensure City staff have adequate time to disseminate your email or voicemail testimony to the Planning Commission, please submit it by noon on May 7, 2026.  Be sure to include the name of the specific agenda item you are providing testimony for.
