Bloomington Public Health serves the communities of Bloomington, Edina and Richfield.
The City of Bloomington Public Health Department's Public Health Specialist working on Substance Use Prevention facilitates a monthly Opioid Stakeholder Group where members are able to drive prevention strategies for addressing the opioid crisis. Though most activities are focused on preventing opioid use, this group also discusses other substance use prevention and mental wellbeing activities as needed.
There are no eligibility criteria for this group- we want anyone interested from all walks of life, including: community members, professionals, people with lived experience of opioid use, and youth.

This group typically meets on the first Monday of the month from 11am-1pm. Attending in person is encouraged, and a virtual option can be made available.
