Community-based organizations play a vital role in supporting and advocating for communities during times of crisis. On-the-ground knowledge, trusted relationships, and deep understanding of local needs are essential to creating emergency management strategies that are equitable, effective, and responsive. We invite you to join the discussion by participating in one of the upcoming sessions. Both will be held online.
The process and session is being facilitated by the Management Analysis and Development team at Minnesota Management and Budget.

Option 1: Monday, June 2 from 9-10:30 a.m.
Option 2: Wednesday, June 4 from 9-10:30 a.m.
What to Expect:
This session will be an open, respectful space for community organizations to:
- Share challenges and barriers your communities face during emergencies
- Highlight successful strategies or approaches your organization has used
- Offer input on how emergency plans can better reflect the realities of the communities you serve
Your input will directly inform the development of a more inclusive and equity-driven emergency management plan.
