More than 300 community members hosted National Night Out parties this year to connect with their neighbors this summer. National Night Out is an annual nationwide event that strengthens neighborhood connections and builds partnerships between residents and public safety. Bloomington Police, Fire, Mayor Tim Busse, City Council members and City staff were out and about visiting neighborhood block parties to connect with residents and share resources.
