*The Opioid Stakeholder meeting on 10/5/2026 is cancelled, and these drop-in hours will take place as scheduled on 10/7/2026*
Bloomington Public Health serves the communities of Bloomington, Edina, and Richfield.
Bloomington Public Health facilitates a monthly Opioid Stakeholder Group where members are able to drive prevention strategies for addressing the opioid crisis.
On the Wednesday following our monthly meeting, we offer the chance for anyone interested to drop-in and chat with our team! We created these drop-in hours to make our meetings more equitable for community members that are unable to attend Monday’s meeting + a chance for anyone to dive more into the Substance Use Prevention, Wellbeing, and Policy team’s projects, share stories, and find new innovative ways to reach our community.
There are no eligibility criteria for this group- we want anyone interested from all walks of life, including: community members, professionals, people with lived experience of opioid use, and youth.
Contact Jon Niederhauser, Public Health Specialist - Substance Use Prevention, if you would like to be added to an email list and receive calendar invites, monthly meeting minutes, and other resources.
