Harvest Moon in a dark night sky

September’s full moon is known by many names including Harvest Moon, Corn Moon, Barley Moon and more. No matter the name, it heralds the coming of Autumn. 

Walk with naturalist Jennan under the full moon, learn about why it gets its name and see the nightlife around Pond-Dakota Mission Park.

  • Some head lamps are available.
  • Closed shoes are encouraged. 
  • This is a free program geared towards adults and families with kids ages 10 and above. 
  • No registration required.
