During election season, the League of Women Voters offers residents a chance to hear directly from the candidates. This fall, Bloomington residents are invited to attend Minnesota legislative district forums at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road:
House Districts 50A, 50B, and 51B on September 10, 6:30 p.m.
Senate District 51 on September 16, 6:30 p.m.
Senate District 50 on September 16, 7:40 p.m.
Through its widely respected candidate forums, the League invites all candidates to share their views in a respectful, nonpartisan setting. Each participant answers the same questions, helping voters compare ideas, priorities and leadership styles before heading to the polls.
As a trusted nonpartisan organization, the League posts complete and unedited recordings of each forum so residents can hear exactly what candidates say.
