Enjoy the next feature film in the Indigenous Film Series, “Medicine Ball,” on Friday, June 26, 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the Schneider Theater, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road.

Directed by regional Emmy Award winner Leya Hale (Dakota/Diné), “Medicine Ball” follows Native college athletes as they take on life and basketball at the University of Minnesota Morris, a campus built on the grounds of a former Native boarding school.

After the film, audiences can join Hale and Sydney Beane, historian and film subject, for a question-and-answer session.
