Join us for a morning bird walk with Rob Daves, an experienced birder and Minnesota naturalist who is very familiar with East Marsh Lake Park.
We'll learn the fine points of using binoculars, downloading and using a bird app on your phone, and clues to help find and identify Bloomington birds.
- Bring binoculars and a field guide if you have them.
- Bring a filled water bottle.
- All experience levels are welcome—no prior birding knowledge required!
- Meet at 8 a.m. in the south end of the parking lot at Hillcrest Elementary School, 9301 Thomas Rd.
- Group will then walk to the east side of Marsh Lake Park together.
- Free program. No registration required. All ages welcome.
