Sunday Funday: Global Jazz Collegium
Headed by award winning guitarist Pavel Jany, the Global Jazz Collegium features an assembly of local and international Jazz musicians performing styles from Brazilian bossa nova to French Gypsy to Spanish flamenco and more.
Global Jazz Collegium plays original material plus works by such artists as Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Jaco Pastorius, Billy Cobham, Jeff Beck,
Pat Metheny, Hermeto Pascoal, Jan Hammer, Carlos Santana and other legends of the jazz/fusion genre.
The Sunday Funday series features live, family-friendly music and theater performances 6 - 8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted). Look for a show at a neighborhood park near you!
The East Lawn Amphitheater has no permanent seating. Please consider bringing a blanket or lawn chair for your comfort and convenience while enjoying the event.
