Skinner holds an associate’s degree in fire science and is a nationally registered paramedic, hazardous materials technician, live fire instructor in charge and a qualified instructor with the Minnesota Board of Fire Training and Education. He is also credentialed faculty in fire science with Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
Before working in Bloomington, Skinner served with Chaska, Hopkins, Hennepin EMS and Edina, while teaching at Hennepin Technical College’s fire program for 13 years.
