Moody Arafa recently opened a Ze’s Diner location in Bloomington. Arafa has worked in the restaurant industry for more than 30 years. In 2009, he and his wife purchased Cahill Diner in Inver Grove Heights, a turning point that led them to develop their own diner concept inspired by 1950s design and traditional comfort food.
Ze’s Diner later expanded to Eagan and other south metro communities. Arafa said Bloomington became a priority after hearing consistent interest from customers.
“I’m always following my customer leads. They always come and say to me, ‘We need a location in Bloomington,’” he said. Once space became available, he decided to bring the concept to the city, continuing his focus on quality food and a welcoming environment.
