May is American Indian Month in the State of Minnesota!

Celebrate at the Second Annual Indigenous Art Fair at Bloomington Civic Plaza, Sunday, May 17, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. offers: 

  • Unique artwork and handmade crafts from more than 40 local Native artists.
  • Native music and dance performances.
  • Outdoor games and activities.
  • Hands-on arts activities. 
  • Food available for purchase from Indigenous food trucks.

  • Original Artwork Requirement: All submitted works must be original creations by the artist. Items for resale, commercially-produced  goods, and mass-produced items are strictly prohibited. The art fair is dedicated to showcasing authentic, handmade Indigenous art.

The Indigenous Art Fair is a collaboration between the Bloomington Public Schools American Indian Education Program and the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department.
