In partnership with the Stop Food Waste Challenge, join Solid Waste staff for an introductory workshop on quick-pickling vegetables!

  • Bring your own produce from home to pickle.
    • Think cucumbers, carrots, green beans, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, etc.
    • You can even pick up produce at the Bloomington Farmers Market before the workshop!
  • Gain hands-on experience prepping a jar of produce for pickling and measuring pickling solution.
  • Participants will be provided with two jars, seasoning, and pickling solution.

RSVP required. Please register at blm.mn/pickle no later than August 5. Class space is limited to 20.
