    The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 W. Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431 to consider a proposal that the City grant host approval to the issuance of revenue obligations, in one or more series (collectively, the “Notes”), by the City of Independence (“City of Independence”), the City of Medina (“City of Medina”), and the City of St. Paul Park (“City of St. Paul Park,” and together with the City of Independence and the City of Medina, the “Issuer Cities”) pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 462C, as amended (the “Act”) and Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code, on behalf of PHS Founders Ridge, Inc., a Minnesota nonprofit corporation, or any of its affiliates (the “Borrower”).  Learn more »

    At 225,000 square feet, the proposed $150 - $200 million water park project in South Loop would be one of the largest indoor water parks in North America. The West Edmonton Mall (WEM) in Canada (which was a model for MOA and is also owned by Triple Five) has a 215,000-square foot, integrated and attached water park that brings in more than 500,000 users annually. The water park adds to the vibrancy and resiliency of the WEM. Not only does the WEM water park have slides and other rides, its large wave pool hosts evening beach parties and surfing leagues (even in the colder months), allowing for greater use of the venue. Learn more »
