Bring your organics and celebrate! Bloomington’s newest organics drop-off site opens Saturday, November 7, at Wright’s Lake Park (8501 17th Ave. S.)
Join the grand opening celebration, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Be among the first to use the new drop-off, create compostable art and enjoy seasonal treats.
The new site, located in the park’s parking lot, will be open during park hours for residents to drop off bagged organic material. Thanks to a Hennepin County grant, the site features a roof and an accessible user door for easier access to the dumpsters.
The new location makes it easier for Bloomington residents to keep food scraps and other organic material out of the trash. Learn more about the new drop-off at blm.mn/organicsdropoffs.
