Help shape Bloomington's future workforce and connect with the next generation of local, motivated youth by becoming a 2027 Bloom in Bloomington internship employer.

The program matches interns with local employers for meaningful, hands-on work experiences that build professional skills, strengthen local workforce connections and create opportunities for future careers.

“I would strongly recommend the Bloom in Bloomington internship to other employers. The internship program itself is organized and supportive, and our intern was an incredible addition to our team,” an employer partner said.

Businesses, nonprofit organizations and public agencies are encouraged to apply now. Employer applications open this fall and early registration ends in January 2027. Though applications will continue to be accepted until March, early registration gives employers the best opportunity to attract top local talent to specific internships when student recruitment begins in January.
