Two ways to participate!
1. Join Bloomington, Edina and Richfield’s Opioid Stakeholder Group
The Opioid Stakeholder Group has led public health and collaborative efforts within the Bloomington, Edina and Richfield communities since reconvening in early 2025 to address the opioid crisis.
View the group’s 2025 priorities.
There is no eligibility requirement - we want anyone interested from all walks of life, including:
- Community members
- Professionals
- People with lived experience
- Youth
We currently meet:
- First Monday of the month
- 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Virtual and Bloomington Civic Plaza
2. Pop into Drop-in Hours for Opioid Prevention Strategies
Focus: Offer the chance for those unable to attend Monday’s Opioid Stakeholder Meeting to drop in and informally chat with our team.
Why: To make our meetings more equitable for community members who are unable to attend Monday’s meeting and offer a chance for anyone to dive more into substance use prevention projects, share stories, and discuss innovative ways to reach our community.
Routine Topics:
- Invitation to take our survey, “Help Shape the Opioid Stakeholder Group”
- Are there certain substance use prevention projects you’re interested in learning more about?
- Do you have personal or professional experiences surrounding opioids or substance use that you would be willing to share with staff or others?
We currently meet:
- First Wednesday of the month
- 5 - 6 p.m.
- Virtual
Interested in either option?
