The Bloomington City Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Bloomington Civic Plaza, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road, Bloomington, Minnesota, 55431, or by electronic means as provided by State law, to consider an Ordinance modifying the franchise fee authorized under Chapter 20, Section 20.66 of the Bloomington City Code, and imposed on Northern States Power Company, a Minnesota corporation, d/b/a Xcel Energy, for the right to transmit and furnish electric energy for light, heat, and power or similar electric energy purposes for public and private use within the City of Bloomington, Minnesota and amending Appendix A for fees and charges for services established by ordinance.
