The Bloomington Fire Department is hiring full-time firefighters/paramedics. There will be informational hiring sessions at Fire Station 1, 10 West 95th St, on Wednesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. and Thursday, December 21 at 6 p.m. You'll learn about:

Firefighter/paramedic anticipated hiring range: $85,197 - $95,888 annually (Non-exempt: eligible for overtime).
- 120 hours of vacation per year
- 168 hour holiday bank per year
- 144 hours personal leave per year

Minimum qualifications
- At least 18 years of age.
- Pass required background, medical, psychological and fitness exams.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Currently a Firefighter/Paramedic with at least 2 years experience.
- FFI, FFII, NFPA HAZMAT 1072, State Firefighter License eligible.
- (FAO within 1 year of hire.)
