Climb aboard one of our fire trucks during the annual Bloomington Fire Department Open House on Saturday, October 10,
10 a.m. - 1 p.m., at any of the City’s six fire stations. To celebrate this year’s theme, “Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging is a Superpower,” we will share information on how to safely charge devices with lithium-ion batteries to reduce the risk of fire and related hazards.
Visitors of all ages can enjoy a live demonstration, chat with the firefighters and even spray a fire hose. Additional kid-friendly activities include coloring sheets, taking pictures for the photo wall and meeting Sparky the Fire Dog. Kids will receive a free T-shirt, bag and other giveaways. Find fire station locations at blm.mn/fire.
