Honoring all who serve, past and present

The City of Bloomington is deeply grateful to all veterans, active service members and the families who stand beside them. This fall, we came together as a community to honor their service and sacrifice with a Veterans Day Proclamation issued October 27 at the City Council meeting; a veterans’ photo wall displayed at Civic Plaza and currently online at blm.mn/vets-photos; as well as a veterans appreciation event November 6 at Civic Plaza.

A POW/MIA Flag Display remains on display through November 12 at Civic Plaza and Public Works.

Each gathering, display and proclamation is a heartfelt reminder of the courage, resilience and dedication of those who served, and continue to serve.
