Business rebates for energy upgrades

Authored on
Widgets

The City, in partnership with the Center for Energy and Environment (CEE), offers rebates for businesses making energy-efficiency improvements. Rebates can cover 20% of project costs up to $5,000 for HVAC projects. Refrigeration and lighting projects are capped at $2,500. City rebates can be combined with other utility incentives. City permits and inspections are required.

How it works:

  • Schedule a free energy assessment with CEE’s One-Stop Efficiency Shop.

  • Receive a report with recommendations, estimated savings and rebate opportunities.

  • A consultant will guide you through the project.

  • CEE handles all rebate paperwork.

  • Projects must be completed by October 30.

  • Rebates are first come, first served.

Take advantage of this opportunity to save energy and reduce costs. Learn more at mncee.org/business.
