Meet Michelle Lincoln, a long-range planner for the City who also supports the Housing and Redevelopment
Authority board.

In the role she has held for just over a year, Lincoln conducts research into various topics, facilitates public participation events, drafts City Code amendments for approval, and helps people who have planning questions.

Lincoln holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Classics from Bucknell University and master’s degrees in both Urban and Regional Planning and Environmental Science from the University of Michigan. In December 2023, she completed a professional certification in planning, AICP.

“Planning and zoning can be challenging to navigate, and I want residents to know they don’t have to tackle the City Code on their own,” Lincoln said. “Planning is here to help you navigate and get comfortable with it.”
