The 2024 U.S. Midwestern Sectional Singles and U.S. Ice Dance Final will be gliding around all the rinks in the Bloomington Ice Garden, November 14-18. Qualifiers from the women and men singles and ice dance disciplines will advance to the 2024 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships and National Development Camp in Columbus, Ohio, in January 2024.
“It’s a really big competition, bringing in 250 skaters with their coaches and families and more than 50 judges from across the country,” said BIG Skate School Coordinator Rene Gelecinskyj.
This event showcases high-level singles skaters from across the Midwest and ice dance teams from across the entire country. Tickets can be purchased on-site.
“My daughter grew up skating at BIG, teaching classes and she even drove the Zamboni for a few years while in college,” Gelecinskyj said. “And she still works as an instructor when needed.”
