High school hockey gears up at BIG

Anticipation is building as Bloomington Ice Garden hosts game nights for all Bloomington high school hockey teams. Family and friends can cheer for their favorite teams at the Bloomington Ice Garden, 3600 West 98th Street.

Supporters of the Kennedy boys, Jefferson boys and Jefferson girls high school hockey programs can typically catch games on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Junior varsity games begin at 5 p.m. and varsity games at 7 p.m. on weeknights.Saturday afternoon games will take place at 1 p.m. for junior varsity games and at 3 p.m. for varsity games.

The Jefferson girls teams have the first game of the year on November 9. The Kennedy boys teams have their first game November 28 and the Jefferson boys begin on November 30.

Admission tickets are required and sold online at blm.mn/big-hs-tickets for $7 per adult and $5 per student or adults over 65. Popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, nachos with cheese and a variety of beverages will be sold during games. For more information, contact BIG at 952-563-8841.
