Cannabis laws and products in Minnesota have changed significantly in recent years, leading to more access, more product options and more questions.

This presentation will:

  • Provide an overview of Minnesota cannabis legislation
  • Explain the difference between medical and recreational cannabis
  • Discuss how older adults can safely navigate access to cannabis products. 

Participants will learn about common reasons older adults may use current products being sold in dispensaries, potential interactions between cannabis and other medications, and important safety considerations such as impaired driving and other health risks.

  • Free program.
  • For adults 50 years of age and above.
  • Registration required. Space limited to 30 participants.
