Carl Thomas will headline the 2026 festival! Known for timeless hits such as “I Wish,” “Summer Rain,” and “Emotional,” as well as the Grammy-nominated duet “Can’t Believe” with Faith Evans, Carl Thomas has been one of the defining voices in R&B for more than two decades.
His classic album, “Emotional,” helped define an era of R&B and remains one of the genre’s most celebrated albums. Before launching his solo career, he was featured on The Notorious B.I.G.’s landmark album “Life After Death,” one of the most influential hip-hop albums of all time. This marks a major milestone for On The One, as Carl Thomas becomes the first national headliner in the festival’s five-year history.

- Location: Central Station Park is located on East 81st Street between 31st and 33rd Avenues South, east of Mall of America and adjacent to Bloomington Central light rail station in the South Loop District.
- Seating: The park features a large, flat, natural grass open space where the performances will take place. There is no permanent seating. It is recommended that you bring a blanket or lawn chair for your comfort and convenience while enjoying the show.
