Each year, Bloomington Parks and Recreation embraces the snowy season with activities and events that draw people outdoors. This year the City, along with community partners such as Three Rivers Park District, will host Winter Fete January 8 – March 5.

“Each year we hope people will take advantage of all the activities we put on during Winter Fete and get outside and enjoy the season,” Recreation Supervisor David
Benson said.

This year, activities include an introduction to ice fishing, fat-tire bike riding, open skating, an international ski competition, an ice harvest, a luminary lantern walk around Girard Lake, 8401 France Avenue South and more. For more details visit blm.mn/winterfete.
