Walk in Bloomington’s natural beauty this winter
A scenic walk and some fresh air are surefire cures for cabin fever. From Nine Mile Creek, above, to Normandale Lake, there are plenty of parks and trails to enjoy during the winter. In addition to 36 miles of off-road trails, Bloomington is home to the 14,000-acre Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge, 3815 American Boulevard East. Put on some cross-country skis or check out some snowshoes and explore new territory close to home.
