The Nine Mile Creek Watershed District is accepting applications to fill positions on its Citizen Advisory Committee in 2023. The CAC is a volunteer advisory group that supports the watershed district in its mission to manage, restore and protect water resources.

As a member of the CAC, you will represent resident interests in water education and outreach, and work with district staff to fulfill the district’s mission. CAC members also review and create educational materials that align with the goal of protecting water resources. You will be a community advocate for issues of concern from the public, learn about water resource issues and management in the district, and provide assistance for community events.

CAC members must live within the district. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Learn more and apply at ninemilecreek.org/citizen-advisory-committee.
