One big change this year is a random lottery registration system for the popular Camp Kota, Playground Littles and Summer Adventure Playgrounds programs. 

“In the past, registration was on one day at a certain time, and programs filled up within minutes,” Recreation Supervisor Jenna Smith said. “The random drawing lottery system aims to increase access and fairness, so everyone has an equal chance of getting a spot in a program.”

Lottery registration opens March 29, at midnight, and closes April 5, at 4 p.m. The lottery drawing will happen on
April 6. Randomly selected registrants will be emailed on drawing day and have one week to complete the registration process. Participants pay only when selected. Complete lottery details can be found in the 2023 catalog.
