After a year of social distancing and quarantines most of us are craving ways to connect and renew our creative “souls.” The next time you’re at Civic Plaza, take a break and view some artwork in person. In the second floor Atrium Gallery, you’ll find colorful wall hangings by Erik Olson in his exhibit “Plasticize Me.” Take a closer look and you’ll notice that they are all created using plastic waste material from consumer goods. “Plasticize Me” runs through April 23.
Artists Kari Halker-Saathoff and Elyse-Krista Mische share conceptual artwork that express poignant and relatable subject matter in “Universally Personal” in the Inez Greenberg Gallery, April 12 – May 14.
