Walk with a Naturalist: Birds and Migration

  • Saturday, September 19, 2020 - 1:00pm to Sunday, September 20, 2020 - 3:45pm

Why do some birds migrate and others stay in one place?

How do non-migrating birds survive our Minnesota winters?

Join local naturalists to learn the answer to these questions and more and go on a short hike at West Bush Lake Park to look for signs of migrating and non-migrating birds. Meet at West Bush Lake Park Shelter #1.

This outdoor program is part of Project P.L.A.Y. and will occur weather permitting and with proper physical distancing and other safety measures in place.  In the event of weather cancellation, notice will be provided here and on the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Facebook Page. Naturalist programs are limited to a maximum of 25 participants at one time, including staff.
