Pop-Up Naturalist: Reptiles and Amphibians

Saturday, October 3, 2020 - 1–4 p.m.

Snakes, turtles, and toads, oh my! Play ‘fact or scat’ to test what you know (and what you thought you knew) about reptiles and amphibians.

Join a naturalist at 1 p.m. for a guided hike focusing on Minnesota’s reptiles and amphibians. Or pop in anytime between 2:30 and 4 p.m. for a self-guided scavenger hunt and a chance to chat with the naturalist and see artifacts from reptiles and amphibians.

  • Maximum 10 people for the hike.
  • Maximum 25 people for the self-guided scavenger hunt and chat with a naturalist.

This free outdoor program takes place at Pond Dakota Mission Park and is geared toward families and adults. It is presented as a part of Project P.L.A.Y. and will occur weather permitting and with proper physical distancing and other safety measures in place. In the event of weather cancellation, notice will be provided here and on the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Facebook Page. Pond outdoor programs are limited to a maximum of 25 participants, including staff.

Pond Dakota Mission Park is located at 401 East 104th St, Bloomington.
