Pop-Up Fishing at Bush Lake

  • 9/7 - 10/4, Mondays and Fridays 3-6 p.m.; Sundays 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
NOTE: Friday, October 2 Pop-Up Fishing will run from 3-5 p.m. instead of the usual 3-6 p.m.

Fishing, a classic Minnesota pastime, something we believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn! Youth under 18 can join us at West Bush Lake Park to get outfitted to land the big one.

Free program. No registration required. Equipment will be provided and you can take it home with you following the program, while supplies last.

The fishing outpost can be found near the canoe racks in West Bush Lake Park.

Participation is limited each day to 25 individuals including youth participants, staff, parents, guardians and spectators.   

Pop-Up Fishing is brought to you by Project P.L.A.Y. and will occur weather permitting and with proper physical distancing and other safety measures in place.
